Only the Wiebenga house!!!

Yesterday, I wrote about God’s blessings in each of our lives, but sometimes we do not notice the blessing God is sending. I am choosing to be open to the blessing that is coming our way. I know that God must have a sense of humor and he can not wait to see what we do with this blessings.

Here is the story. Today was the last day of Christmas break for my kids. When I got home from work the boys were very excited to let me know that Grandpa Schoon bought them a gift, today. He went to the sale barn and purchased a pregnant, white goat with horns and a beard for my boys! Did I tell you she is PREGNANT! According to my boys goats can have up to 3 kids during each pregnancy. She weighs 75 pounds right now and is about a week from giving birth. My boys are making plans to get White Wanda home, before the big event. They think she is a great deal at only $37.00.

Needless to say, there was a little tension at the Wiebenga house tonight. The boys have agreed to take care of the new addition(s) to the family. I will continue to try to educate them on the benefit of keep White Wanda at Grandpa’s house.

I have not spoke to my dad yet. I think I will wait until tomorrow to call him. I am sure he thinks this is all funny and that every boy should have animals to take care of. I think 3 dogs, 2 horse, 2 mules and a hedgehog are enough.

Maybe, this is payback for the time (actually two times) I gave my nieces live bunnies for Easter, without talking to their parents.

I am sure there will be more stories of White Wanda coming. I am looking for the blessingsJ
