We have first times for everything in our life. Today, Ross experienced a first, as he shot his first deer. This is a day that Ross and Todd will remember forever.
Ross is ten years old and was able to hunt in South Dakota with the Mentor deer tag. Today was the last day of the season. Ross and Todd had been out several times without success; earlier this week he had a long shot and missed. Today he had the perfect shot and achieved the goal!

Ross is so excited about his first deer. The pride is beaming from Todd as he had this special day with Ross. He was with all three of our children, when they had their first successful hunt and he is happy to pass down his hobby to his children. Did I tell you hunting is Todd’s favorite hobby?

I am so happy that all three of our children were able to give Todd the blessing of sharing their first hunt with him.
